Description:
This ensemble is intended for any young person (21yrs and under) learning an orchestral musical instrument (including percussion) who is working at around Grade 6-8 Level. It is an ensemble designed to stretch those members of the main Youth Orchestra who are at the higher end of the ability spectrum.
Those who are not members of other Orchestrate! ensembles are very welcome.
We are recruiting those within these categories:
- Those who have passed Grade 6, 7, 8 or Diploma Examinations
- Those who are working towards Grade 8 (perhaps who have passed Grade 6 but are skipping Grade 7)
- Those who are working at this level, but who do not take exams
- Advanced pianists to play orchestral percussion parts
